How long eyelash extensions should last in Sekhukhune heat
A well-applied classic set should look full for two to three weeks here — if the aftercare matches the weather you actually live in, not a coastal salon card.
Individual lashes are one of the most requested services at Glam Fairies Beauty Bar. Clients want the open-eye finish for church, work and weekends without drawing a liner every morning. The chemistry is simple: adhesive, natural lash cycle, oil and steam. Sekhukhune adds heat, wind-blown dust and long event days. What a healthy set looks like in week one and week three
In the first five days the set should feel light. Mild tightness on day one is normal; itching, clumps or a watery eye is not — message us and we will check the eye. By week two you will see the natural shed pattern: a few lashes on your pillow, not bald patches. Week three is when an infill earns its keep, especially before a wedding or graduation weekend.
Aftercare that works in Limpopo, not only in a studio
- Keep the set dry for the first 24 hours. No steam from pots, no hot shower on the face, no swimming.
- Cleanse with a lash-safe foam, not bar soap or oily makeup remover. Dust sits on extensions the same way it sits on a windscreen.
- Do not sleep face-down. A silk pillowcase is worth more than another tube of sealer.
- Skip oil-heavy serums on the lid. They weaken the bond faster than heat alone.
- Brush daily with the spoolie we send you home with. Tangles, not “bad glue”, are what make a set look old.
When to book the infill
